Meet Dr. Esther Chung
Hello! My name is Esther Chung and I am the dentist and owner at PDX Dental Care. I am originally from Northern California but moved to Oregon 13 years ago with my husband and have fallen in love with the Pacific Northwest.
Our office is nestled in the middle of the Woodstock neighborhood and we have many patients that walk over, bike over, or walk their dog over as well! I feel so blessed to be able to work in such a wonderful neighborhood and with some of the best people, as staff and as patients.
I graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Loma Linda University and have been practicing dentistry in Washington and Oregon. I enjoy taking continuing education to not only keep up with new techniques and materials, but to understand what makes a happier and more comfortable patient.
In my spare time, I like to do jigsaw puzzles, knit, and cook. No, I am not 90. I also like to go snowboarding/skiing with my family, and in the summer we like biking around Portland and enjoying good food and scenery.
